How Siblings Deal With the Stress of Caring for Aging Parents

On Wednesday, February 10, at 6:00 PM, the New York County Lawyers’ Association (NYCLA) at 14 Vesey Street is hosting a free reading and booksigning for They’re Your Parents, Too! How Siblings Can Survive Their Parents’ Aging Without Driving Each Other Crazy (Bantam 2010), by Francine Russo. Ms. Russo is a veteran journalist and former college professor, and her book provides information, insight and advice as siblings assume their parents’ place as the decision-making generation of their families. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.

Filled with expert guidance from gerontologists, family therapists, elder-care attorneys, financial planners and health workers, the book contains real-life stories and helpful family negotiation techniques for people whose parents are aging.

Books will be available for sale.
