About the Author

My name is Tena L. Scallan; I am the owner of Independent Living Services, Inc. My passion for care giving started at a very early age, my mother was in poor health most of her life. I was always in doctor’s offices, hospitals or other health care facilities most of my life.

I have been experienced in every facet of the health care field. From being a candy striper to working in almost every department in a hospital, to running other businesses and now running my own home care agency for the past 10 years.

I have dedicated my life to help others in need. I have always tried to take the difficult responsibility of caring for others into my own hands, and making it easier for others. I would love to educate everyone one in the world in providing personalized attention to the most significant detail, with the utmost care and compassion.
